Hey, I’m Maria — the hands + heart behind The Vintage Wildflower.
I’ve been in the wedding world since I was 15 — over 15 years of witnessing love in all its wild, beautiful forms. My roots? They actually started in the kitchen. I was passionate about food, obsessed with how things are grown, and eventually… that curiosity bloomed into flowers.
What began as a veggie garden and a few dried wreaths turned into something so much more. When my good friend asked me to do her wedding florals, I had no idea it would spark a whole new chapter. Now, two years later, I design custom florals for weddings full of heart, soul, and intention.
The Vintage Wildflower is about more than just “pretty flowers.”
It’s about creating an experience I want your guests to feel in the moment and remember it forever. Every bouquet, every table, every petal tells a story. I believe in the power of the little things, and I want your wedding to feel like you and your partner, through and through.
I do my best to source flowers locally and sustainably and while it’s not always easy, it’s a priority for me as I grow this business. Supporting small growers and choosing seasonal blooms wherever possible is part of my bigger vision: to create beauty that’s thoughtful and kind to the earth.
